The Tools

Sometimes I look back at my photos from a few years ago and marvel at what I was able to accomplish despite my limited tools. This daddy long legs macro was taken using a 4.1 megapixel hewlett packard point and shoot.  It had a 1 inch screen.

I would struggle to get a shot like this today with my dslr. I wonder, at times, if I’m nurturing my talent by buying more and more equipment before i fully master what i have. Equipment a photographer does not make.

Anyway, looking at your past accomplishments helps put into perspective the way you’re handling your learning experiences today.
